LINDY 10m FireWire Active Extension Cable
The LINDY FireWire Extension Cable allows you to extend the cable length of your FireWire devices by an extra 10m. Ideal for use with DV Camcorders printers scanners cameras etc. To use simply plug one end of the Extension Cable into a FireWire port on your computer and then plug the cable from your device into the other end. For longer distances you can connect up to 5 Extension Cables together for a maximum length of 50m!
- FireWire Repeater Cable for extending the cable length between FireWire devices over distances greater than the IEEE 1394 specified limit of 4.5m
- Up to 5 extension cables can be connected for a maximum distances of 50m (at the longer distances your FireWire device must be self-powered)
- Supports IEEE 1394 devices at speeds of up to 400Mbit/sec
